Description Join our growing team at the Beacon Hill Club! Beacon Hill is a family-oriented club situated on 9 acres in Summit, NJ. We are looking for a dedicated, responsible Maintenance Worker who can work on all the grounds, landscaping, general maintenance, both indoor and outdoor, at the club, and help set up for event functions. It is a full-time position with variable hours, Monday through Sunday. Job Tasks and Duties Maintain all grounds by keeping them in pristine condition throughout the year, including pavement entrances and snow removal Landscaping maintenance: Duties include, but are not limited to, cutting the lawn, trimming, and edging around walks, curbs, planting beds, and walls, using appropriate grounds maintenance tools Set up tables, chairs, etc. in the Clubhouse for event functions, and other duties as required. Assist on building ice rink and tennis courts, will be trained. Required Skills Team player who is punctual and reliable Must be able to follow instructions and be flexible with constantly changing priorities and deadlines Experience using maintenance or construction tools to produce high-quality work in an efficient and timely manner consistently Education and Experience Must have 2 years of experience in maintenance; country club or private club experience preferred, but not required. Basic understanding of electricity, plumbing, and grounds maintenance Physical Demands and Work Environment Walking and standing for extended periods of time Lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling equipment and supplies weighing up to 80lbs.
