JOB DESCRIPTION

You’re an experienced Hotel Maintenance Worker with broad skills & abilities and are hungry to take on a hands-on role with a top-ranking hotel.
You’re a highly organized, proactive & results orientated individual with a strong quality assurance focus & innovative problem-solving skills. You have a strong work ethic and enjoy hands on roles. Your experience, skills & knowledge would allow you to maintain the highest levels of working order, repair & quality within our Hotel. You also enjoy working in a hospitality environment and working independently.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Building maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel environment
• Strong understanding of HVAC, Pool Maintenance and basic plumbing & electrical maintenance (Pool Certification a definite asset)
• Experience with painting, drywall, vinyl & repairs critically important
• Carpentry skills & furniture repair experience an asset
• Experience with general maintenance tools and equipment
• Excellent Organizational & Time Management skills
• Strong Work Ethic & Ability to work Independently
• Ability to work a flexible schedule

• Property & Building Maintenance – HVAC, Mechanical Equipment, Pool Maintenance, Dry Wall repairs, Vinyl Repairs, Painting, Plumbing, Furniture Repairs, Landscaping / Snow Removal and Minor repair orders
• Preventative Maintenance / Deep Clean – completing regular inspection checklists and performing tasks to maintain equipment and hotel in peak working order
• Health & Safety – creates a safe and attractive environment for guests and associates by ensuring the hotel is maintained in accordance with safety standard
