Description Summary: Performs general custodial and routine maintenance work in the casino and adjacent outside areas. Keeps all equipment in a clean, orderly, and functional condition. Aids staff, guests, and management as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned). Performs minor carpentry, electrical, and plumbing repairs Follows daily assignment sheet Provides touch up and finishing paint as needed Daily grounds maintenance Follows all safety rules and procedures Follows oral or written direction from management Requirements Qualifications: Education/Experience: 1-year experience in Maintenance or Facilities within casino environment preferred Language Ability: Must be able to communicate effectively in English language – speak and read Math Ability: Basic math skills required Reasoning Ability: Experience working with variety of tools for repair/maintenance Must be able to work at a steady pace to ensure that department schedule is kept Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures Ability to work well with others and with minimum supervision Good customer service skills and employee relations skills Computer Skills: Familiar with Microsoft Office software preferred Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75lbs occasionally Ability to handle and repair heavy-duty equipment Must be able to push and pull heavy duty equipment Prolonged walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching and kneeling without restriction Ability to withstand working with chemicals and noise of equipment Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, and other confined areas
