As a Maintenance Person, the following will be your key responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations in the warehouse and perform general maintenance activities
  • Load and unload trucks as per plant requirements
  • Perform order fulfillment tasks accurately and in a timely manner
  • Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain warehouse machinery
  • Coordinate and participate in daily housekeeping activities
  • Assist plant personnel as needed, and requested by the leadership team
  • Other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Capable of performing physical job duties (may include: lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling and twisting safely)
  • Using personal protective equipment (PPE), must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions (may include: heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc.)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow-up
  • Understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Experienced in operating forklifts
  • Ability to work day/afternoon/nights shift rotation
