This role involves conducting routine maintenance, repairs, including light plumbing and electrical work. In addition to general building repairs, you will also assist with office maintenance tasks, such as mounting TVs, changing light bulbs, relocating furniture, and other related activities. Must have a "go-getter/take initiative" personality. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Summary of Essential Job Duties: Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs. Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures. Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities. Repair or replace broken fixtures, equipment, and appliances. Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements Requirements Skills/Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Knowledge of general carpentry and repair. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Prolonged periods standing and walking. Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into spaces. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Related experience required.
