Lonestar Lumber is looking for an experienced Maintenance Worker for in town (Edmonton) work to join our team!
In business for over 30 years, Lonestar is one of Western Canada’s leading lumber and packaging manufacturers.

Job description

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Minor to major repairs
  • Routine maintenance
  • Mechanical work
  • General labor
  • Construction
  • Various other tasks as required

As a maintenance worker, you will be completing tasks, both indoors and outdoors, on:

  • a variety of high-powered industrial machines such as: 2-head and 4-head saws; rip-saws; notchers; automatic nailing machines (Woodpeckers); automatic stackers; etc. including belts, conveyors, rollcases, etc.
  • a variety of hand tools such as nails guns; strappers; etc.
  • a variety of rolling stock including forklifts, loaders, and semi’s.
  • both interior and exterior work on our main mill, office, and other buildings.

Successful applicants will:

  • be able to work extra and/or flexible hours;
  • have experience and knowledge on various trades;
  • have experience and knowledge with our equipment;
  • be able to work both under supervision and on tasks independently.

We want to ensure continuous, working order of all our machines and equipment to reach peak optimal production with little down time.
