Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor Examples of Duties and Responsibilities: Places orders for replacement of sanitation and cleaning supplies; Replaces light bulbs and fixtures in production offices and lunch room; Cleans production offices including emptying trash containers; Cleans drinking fountains and sinks Cleans refrigerators and microwave ovens in production area; Paints preparation (scrape, brush, and prime); Paints inside and outside of buildings; Mops floors/cleans up spills; and Spot cleans carpets; Assists mechanics with daily responsibilities; Regular punctuality, attendance, and absence reporting in conformance with company policies is essential to the successful performance of this position; and Fully comply with company rules, policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure safe and effective operations. QUALIFICATIONS GUIDELINES: Any combination equivalent of, but not limited to, the following: Experience/Training/Education: Some experience in building or facilities maintenance work is desirable. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of industrial cleaners; Ability to understand and follow work instructions; Ability to organize and follow own work schedule; and Ability to communicate and work cooperatively with others. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, move, and carry tools and materials weighing up to 25 pounds unassisted; Lifting, moving, or carrying tools and materials weighing over 25 pounds requires assistance by a co-worker or lifting equipment; Ability to stretch, bend, and reach work areas; Ability to perform essential functions of the job, as defined; and Reasonable accommodations provided upon request.
