The Richmond Hill Country Club Day Camp is looking for a maintenance team throughout the day for summer 2025!
We are looking for maintenance staff (15- 25 years old)
RHCC Day Camp is a day camp in Richmond Hill set in a beautiful green valley adjacent to the Richmond Hill Country Club. We are a summer day camp for children aged 4-15. Here, many of our former staff gained their first experience helping them choose future careers in fields like: teaching, therapy, educational assistant, support worker and more.
Starts: July 1, 2025
Hours: Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 5pm
July 1 to August 22, 2025
Only serious applicants should apply.
Maintenance is responsible for working as part of a larger team and works to provide a safe environment for the campers and staff. Jobs include: filling of water containers, cleaning and emptying garbage, delivering towels to the pools, delivering items around the campsite . (A drivers license would be a big plus as a golf cart will be used throughout the day).
We offer daily hot lunches and healthy snacks for all of our staff, as well as transportation within our boundaries.
If making money is a top priority, you will be better off working in an office, factory or grocery store. A camp job has many non-monetary benefits: enjoying the outdoors, working with old and new friends, access to camp activities, the satisfaction of teaching and learning from the campers and knowing that you made a difference in the lives of children in your care. Please note that privately run day camps are exempt from the Ontario Minimum Wage Law and we pay a competitive camp salary, which is less than minimum wage.
All applicants must have a proven track record as a team player, be energetic, professional and be interested in being a role model/mentor to young children. Camp will also benefit your future careers. Camp directors write many reference letters for former staff aspiring to be teachers, doctors, lawyers or leaders in business. The skills learned at camp will positively influence your success at school, at work and in personal relationships for the rest of your life.
Ideally you will be someone finishing high school or in university or college. In order to be considered for a position, you must complete an online application at https://staffrhccdc.campbrainstaff.com and we will be in touch!
Please note: Serious applicants must apply using the link above. Indeed will NOT be checked.
