Established in 1984, Ruskin Mill Trust is an educational charity that operates in England, Scotland and Wales.
We offer exciting outdoor learning environments, utilising practical land and craft activities to support the development of work and life skills in young people with autistic spectrum conditions and other learning differences.
We are seeking to appoint a Maintenance Worker to work as part of the maintenance team under the instruction of the Maintenance Manager with the upkeep of all properties, its site and associated sites.

• To carry out all aspects of college maintenance including all sites and residential provision, with the exception of gas and electrical works as required;
• To carry out routine health and safety and compliance checks
• To construct office and teaching spaces as required and to carry out repairs to furniture;
• To carry out outdoor building projects, including landscaping and fencing in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager;
• To visit local merchants to obtain materials as required;
• To maintain equipment such as machinery and tools that are required to carry out the duties of the role;
• Current Full UK driving licence (Essential);
• Willingness to work with students with SEND as required to develop their employability skills.
