Perform building and landscaping duties as assigned. Perform inspections and maintenance to water, sewer, HVAC, vehicles and equipment as assigned. Complete small construction, repair, repainting, repair of tile and walkways, etc. Be available to assist with snow and ice removal; removal of dead trees or brush; designing and installation of landscaping plants. Mow and trim as assigned. Must have supervisory skills. Extensive knowledge of Safety/Risk Management including OSHA, Joint Commission, BRFL, State Fire Marshall, State Department of Health Services. Must know tools, methods, equipment, vehicle mechanics, and practices of safety and risk management. Must have excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to keep records, make written plans and reports. Requires above average physical condition. Snapshot of Daily Duties Oversees the security, safety, repairs, renovations and new growth. Receives, prioritizes and routes work orders for buildings, grounds, utilities, furnishings and vehicles. Maintains repair and work production documentation. Walks all facilities monthly with the Residential Program Director and/or Director of Residential Services documenting and prioritizing needs, goals and modifications. Works as a team member assuring the safety and cleanliness of the therapeutic environment.
