Description Job Description The Maintenance Worker is responsible for completing repairs across all five facilities and delivering maintenance-related support and communication to stakeholders. This role ensures operation and functionality of the Company’s facilities, machinery, and equipment through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely completion of repairs. The Maintenance Worker will maintain accurate electronic records using internal maintenance tracking software. Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities Include: Organize and perform regular maintenance checks on all manufacturing equipment. Participate in regular upkeep throughout facilities, both indoor and outdoor. Perform tasks related to preventative maintenance, work orders, work requests, etc. Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs. Maintain spare parts inventory and reorder stock and other supplies. Conduct facility inspections (roof, grounds, interior spaces). Help move equipment or materials as needed. Document machine downtime and root-cause notes. Provide support to facility projects, renovations, or expansions. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of building maintenance experience preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: A general knowledge of: computer literacy to include Microsoft Suite Skills: Strong verbal and written communication Strong organization, prioritization, and problem-solving Time management Constructive attitude when assisting others Highly adaptable to changing priorities Able to: follow instruction with careful attention to detail remain on task and focused when faced with workplace distractions drive a company provided vehicle for job related tasks operate a forklift ascend and descend ladders and stairs stand and walk for an 8-hour period bend, reach, and twist upper and lower body stoop, kneel, and crawl move items up to 75 lbs. Working Environment: This position does not supervise other positions. It is full-time, onsite, Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, and may be expected to work as needed based on company need and for emergencies. This position will regularly travel between all five facilities, working outside and inside in manufacturing, warehouse, and office work environments. The handling of hazardous materials and loud and/or dusty environments will be encountered. Some work areas are not temperature controlled, and hot and cold temperatures and/or inclement weather may be experienced. This individual will primarily work independently but may interact with colleagues as needed throughout the day. This position will occasionally sit at a desk and work on a computer but will spend most of the day standing or walking. This position requires use of a personal vehicle for reimbursable work-related travel.
