TF Warren Group is a premier lining, coating and rail maintenance facility located in Brantford, Ontario. We are currently looking for a general Maintenance Worker to join our team. An ideal candidate would be someone with welding experience and general repair work in an industrial facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide mechanical, structural, and rotating equipment support, maintaining optimum functionality for equipment by performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs
  • Maintenance and repair of all tools and equipment, including hand, air, and power tools such as paint pumps and compressors
  • Provide regularly scheduled service to all major equipment including compressors, dust collectors, paint spray equipment, sandblasting equipment, air makeup equipment, breathing air equipment, wheelabrators and monorail systems
  • Complete minor electrical repairs
  • Fabricate small to moderate steel fixtures, such as trays and supports, for equipment
  • Maintain logbook of all repairs and maintenance
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining maintenance shop
  • Requisition all parts needed for maintenance work
  • Perform work safely in accordance with legislation and company procedures, including lock out-tag out and hot work permits
  • Assist in developing preventative maintenance program and schedule downtime in conjunction with production schedules
  • Other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

  • 3-5 years industrial maintenance experience, including Welding
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Must possess troubleshooting skills with mechanical equipment and be analytical
  • Ability to work in confined spaces or working at heights
  • Knowledge and hands on experience of computer applications
  • Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language
  • May be required to work overtime, including weekends.
