JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, providing a safe and efficient environment for both staff and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance.
  • Proficiency in electrical systems, including the use of an ohmmeter for diagnostics.
  • Experience with programmable logic controllers is preferred.
  • Familiarity with welding techniques and practices.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics related to electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Previous supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Experience in manufacturing settings is advantageous but not required. We are looking for a proactive individual who can take initiative, work independently, and contribute positively to our team. Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
  • Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
  • Read and interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing problems and implementing solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and leadership to ensure high-quality work standards.
  • Engage in residential painting projects as required to maintain aesthetic quality.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules without disrupting operations.
