Responsibilities

THE ROLE

This apprenticeship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR administration while working towards a recognised qualification. You’ll take the lead on the daily HR admin tasks and support the wider People Team with day-to-day HR tasks, gaining insight into employee lifecycle processes, recruitment, onboarding, and L&D coordination.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer new starter colleague induction and probation checklists
  • Help draft employee letters with supervision
  • Shadow HR Business Partners in meetings and take notes
  • Lead on HR admin tasks like inputting data, tracking changes, and filing
  • Learn how to process payroll changes and support monthly reporting
  • Help maintain employee documentation and right to work checks
  • Support reward and recognition activities
  • Assist with recruitment administration (posting jobs, interview coordination, onboarding)
  • Respond to basic HR queries on our ticket system (Freshdesk), with guidance
  • Work alongside the team to learn how to produce HR reports
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as and when required
