Job Title: Major Account Manager – Construction Welfare & Events
Location: Office-Based with Travel and Elements of Flexible Working
Reporting To: Head of Construction and Head of Events

Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE:

The Major Account Manager will be responsible for winning, managing, and expanding high-value customer accounts across the construction and events sectors, with a focus on welfare solutions. With a strong commercial presence and exceptional relationship-building skills, the postholder will lead the full sales cycle, from strategic prospecting to contract close, while also supporting the broader team in elevating Site-Equip’s and Site -Events reputation as a market leader.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, secure, and manage high-value accounts within the construction and events industries, working directly with senior decision-makers, including directors and C-suite executives.
  • Lead the whole sales process from lead generation to proposal, negotiation, and contract completion.
  • Target non-traditional sectors, such as emergency services, film and TV, and infrastructure projects, to unlock new commercial opportunities.
  • Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders to drive customer loyalty and account growth.
  • Maintain a strong and professional LinkedIn presence, engaging with construction and event industry communities to strengthen the brand and generate new business leads.
  • Represent Site-Equip at key industry events, exhibitions, and forums to promote services and build strategic networks.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Operations, Marketing, and Finance) to ensure seamless service delivery and to develop tailored customer propositions.
  • Provide market intelligence on trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver regular sales reports and performance forecasts to the leadership team.
  • Build a strong presence on relevant social media platforms (LinkedIn)
