The Salvation Army is recruiting an experienced Major Donor Manager. This critical role will ensure that The Salvation Army maintains and increases its impactful presence as one of the top ten charities in the UK, and as a worldwide Christian Church that puts belief into action.
One of the UK’s most inspiring and best-known faith-based organisations, The Salvation Army, is looking for Major Donor Manager to develop and nurture excellent and mutually meaningful major donor relationships.
The postholder will have existing extensive experience of managing a portfolio of donors and prospects, using their skills to explore, understand and leverage new networks, whilst deepening our relationships with existing supporters. Joining at an exciting time of growth, the successful candidate will work proactively at a senior level within the team, following their own leads, and also contribute to wider team growth.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE;

• Experience of securing 5-figure+ donations from high value donors for a variety of projects
• Strong relationship management skills with a proven track record of managing both new and existing high-value relationships
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
