Make Ready Technician Full Time: 40 hours/week Hourly: Compensation is commensurate with experience Schedule: Monday – Friday, overtime as needed Reports to: Maintenance Manager Discount: 50% off rent discount (restrictions apply) Job Description Levco Management is currently hiring a Make Ready Technician for a 651-unit property in Richmond, VA. We are seeking an individual with experience in the apartment industry who is dependable, hard-working, and interested in developing their technical skills. Qualifications 1 year of residential maintenance experience. Must have experience with installation of light fixtures, minor plumbing, carpentry, and electrical. Must provide your own hand tools, including handheld power tools. Must have the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Must be able to pass a background check as well as a maintenance skills assessment. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Responsibilities Inspect the condition of all units prior to starting repairs to include, but not limited to, walls, appliances, electrical, plumbing, windows/doors, filters, and smoke detectors. Responsible for the daily upkeep of the grounds and appearance of the property, and general repair/replacements for common areas as needed. Complete the apartment turn process to prepare for move-ins. Conduct general upkeep procedures (i.e., landscaping) and other tasks as assigned. May assist with hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, snow removal, freezes, etc. Any other duties assigned to you by your supervisor.
