We are looking for a talented, skilled Makeup artist that is experienced in counter or boutique cosmetic sales and beauty advisory. You will apply basic and complex makeup applications including lashes and brow shaping. ( PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST BE HIGHLY SKILLED IN BROW SHAPING WITH A PROFESSIONAL RAZOR, AND HIGHLY SKILLED IN LASH APPLICATION, BOTH STRIPS AND INDIVIDUAL LASHES) We want an artist who will apply their creativity and dexterity in making people look great. Job Description: Make-Up Artist

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Assist customers in makeup and skin care selections through individual consultation and demonstration, and will participate in special events and promotions to achieve both personal and counter productivity goals.
Work Schedule
 Requires morning, afternoon and evening availability any day of week.
 Required to work base schedule but may be changed by management based on needs of store.
 Requests to be scheduled off for a specific day require advanced notification and approval by management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Have the ability to be on feet all day.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Qualifications
 1 – 2 years make up
 Cosmetic and skin care knowledge with the ability to provide all services
rendered by Colour U Cosmetics
 Be able to learn make-up techniques
 Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
 Effective organization, communication (written/oral) and problem solving skills.
 Have the ability to anticipate problems and think ahead.
 Enjoy working in a highly competitive, fast pace environment.
 Have the ability to function in fast pace environment.
 Maintain a professional attitude with the ability to be flexible and deal with

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Follow-up with customers weekly on phone/web orders.
Safety
 Use of clean brushes at all times.
 Maintain clean workspace at all times.
 Dispose of used razors immediately.
 Clean hands with sanitizer between clients.
