Join Passion Disability Support Services

Passion Disability Support Services is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Male Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred support to NDIS participants across Brisbane.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will:

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance
• Support participants with community access and social engagement
• Assist with meal preparation, household tasks, and medication prompts
• Implement positive behaviour support strategies where required
• Maintain accurate shift notes and documentation
• Promote participant choice, independence, and dignity

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in Disability Support or Aged Care
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent (preferred)
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence and reliable insured vehicle
• Comprehensive Car Insurance
• Current National Police Check
• Working rights
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Availability for weekdays, weekends, sleepovers, and public holidays (preferred)

Desirable

• Experience with manual handling, personal care, and medication administration
• Experience supporting participants with psychosocial disabilities, autism, intellectual disabilities, or high-intensity needs
• Knowledge of person-centred and trauma-informed support
