We’re looking for a proactive, reliable, and engaging Male Support Worker to join our client’s small, close-knit support team in Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees. This is a fantastic opportunity to work 1:1 with a 28-year-old man with cerebral palsy, who lives at home with his family and enjoys local outings, drives, and attending his day centre.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Driver: Essential – you must have a full UK driving licence.
• Experience working in someone’s home and within a close-knit family
• Comfortable supporting adults with communication challenges
• Able to prompt and supervise rather than take over tasks
• Friendly, proactive, and confident
• Able to motivate and encourage independence
• Comfortable integrating into a family-led environment where trust is key
• Respectful of family dynamics and able to bring fresh ideas without being intrusive
