Location: Oldham
We are seeking a confident and resilient Male SEN Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Oldham on a full-time basis. This is an immediate start position, offering £100 per day.
The successful candidate will be have experience supporting pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours. You will be working with pupils aged 11–16 who require high levels of structure, consistency, and emotional support.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in a special school or SEN setting
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
• Patience, resilience, and excellent communication skills

• Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups with tailored strategies
• Implementing behaviour support plans and de-escalation techniques
• Assisting in the delivery of lessons and structured activities
• Promoting emotional regulation, independence, and social development
• Working closely with staff and supporting pupils during transitions and activities
