What You’ll Do: As a Mammography Technologist, you’ll perform screening and diagnostic mammograms with precision and care, following protocols and ensuring a safe, supportive experience for every patient. Essential Responsibilities: Accurately position patients to obtain high-quality images (70%) Perform daily quality control/assurance checks on mammography equipment (10%) Complete exam and patient history documentation in RIS system (10%) Identify and address scheduling concerns as needed (10%) Additional Expectations: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked department Collaborate in a respectful, fast-paced team setting Stay compliant with ACR standards and MQSA regulations Uphold the Radiologic Technologist Code of Ethics Take initiative to solve workflow challenges and improve processes Qualifications: ARRT certification in Mammography (ARRT M) Florida State Radiologic Technologist License MQSA-compliant (Digital & 3D Mammography) BLS Certification Minimum 2 years of mammography experience Experience in stereotactic breast biopsy or willingness to learn preferred Patient-focused, proactive, and team-oriented attitude Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and assist patients with limited mobility Frequent bending and reaching required for proper positioning Join Our Team!
