We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Mammography Technologist Trainee to join our radiology team. Candidates must be ARRT registered radiologic technologists with a strong interest in pursuing certification in mammography. This trainee position offers both didactic and clinical training to prepare you for a successful career in mammography. Facility: Novant Health Breast Center Location: 315 Lillington Avenue Charlotte, NC 28204 Position Type: Full-Time Work Schedule Details: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM (possibility of 4-10s) Responsibilities Assist in performing mammography procedures under the supervision of a certified mammography technologist. Prepare patients for mammography exams, ensuring their comfort and safety. Operate mammography equipment and adhere to established protocols and safety standards. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. Participate in ongoing training and educational opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in mammography. Follow all regulatory and accreditation standards, including those set by the ARRT and ACR. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited radiography program, ARRT registered Must complete required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active Must have active state licensure, where applicable Prior Experience: 0 to 2+ years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist Preferred Qualifications: Strong interest in obtaining mammography certification Working knowledge of radiologic procedures and standards Skill in operation of radiology equipment Working knowledge of computers, software applications, technology and peripheral office equipment Customer service background and focus Company Message About MedQuest Associates Founded in 1996, MedQuest is one of the most experienced outpatient imaging providers in the United States.
