Job Description This role is responsible for leading the technical aspects of network infrastructure project deployments, ensuring on-time, on-scope, and on-budget completion. He/she will be a champion of networking best practices, driving innovation and maintaining high availability and performance across all solutions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Deployment Lead the technical aspect of network projects. Make key deployment decisions for network infrastructure, tooling, and performance monitoring platforms. Ensure all network configurations meet stringent performance, scalability, and availability standards, adhering to industry best practices. Act as the bridge between the Project Manager and vendor technical teams regarding technical matters of network projects. Track the progress of network-related tasks and ensure timely and stable delivery. Develop onboarding materials and run knowledge-transfer sessions for deployed network solutions. Network Architecture and Implementation Design and maintain resilient and scalable network infrastructure (on-premise or cloud) to support business connectivity and performance needs. Recommend, manage, and enhance available network management and monitoring tools and processes. Automate network provisioning, configuration management, and fault resolution processes to enhance efficiency and reduce human error. Maintain Documentation and Compliance Create and update comprehensive network project documentation, including architecture diagrams, network standards, and operational runbooks. Ensure all deployments and configurations comply with internal requirements, regulatory standards, and the project deployment lifecycle. Champion best practices, network standards, and innovation throughout the solution lifecycle. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field. At least 3-5 years of experience in network engineering/operations roles, with a strong focus on technical implementation and project leadership. Network Certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIS) are a plus. Knowledgeable in routing and switching (BGP, OSPF), LAN/WAN technologies, and software-defined networking (SDN). Understanding and application of networking best practices and frameworks (e.g., ITIL for incident/change management). SKILLS: Soft Skills Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team and communicate technical information clearly to stakeholders. Ability to identify issues related to performance and security, troubleshoot effectively, and implement solutions. Able to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and meet deadlines. Hard Skills Experience in deploying and managing network devices from vendors like Aruba, Huawei, Cisco, Juniper, Ubiquity, etc. Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios), packet analysis (e.g., Wireshark), and scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Ansible). Experience with SD-WAN and WiFi technologies. Experience with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure vNet) is a plus. Capable of identifying root causes of network performance issues and outages and implementing reliable solutions.
