Description
The purpose of this position is to manage, plan and direct all service activity within our customer base in the Managed Services Environment – with a particular focus on the Electrical (UPS/DC/Electrical Infrastructure) aspects. This includes the activities of Sub-Contractors and Vertiv Teams. Achieve sales targets and manage expenditure within budget and ensure the company image is maintained and upheld at all times. Ensuring commonality of process and field deployment where this is required. Key Responsibilities Operational Execution: Manage the day-to-day electrical operations of our key accounts. (UPS, DC and Electrical) electrical systems from incoming switchboards, transfer switches and generators, through to the rack outlets. Oversee maintenances and conduct power/capacity audits (DC/UPS and electrical for capacity planning) Nationally. Manage Generator building load tests. On Call Roster every second week or as required as per staffing requirements and availability. Co-ordinate activities to ensure SLAs are met. Raise CRQs in ITSM. Manage the activity of third-party contractors. Preparation of monthly reports and financial forecasts. Attendance at monthly meetings with key customers to review SLA performance. Weekly operations meeting to address grass roots operational discussions/ actions and compliance. Provision of electrical quotations to ensure consistency. Building and maintaining close relationships with customer. Able to travel interstate when and if required. (25%) Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to expand the Global Services offering and make direct representation to prospects and customers to expand the service business. Working actively with the Managed Services Manager. Planning, Process and Reporting: Work collaboratively with the Managed Services Manager to develop short- and long-range business plans. Initiate, lead and manage an extensive and diverse range of projects which increase operational sales performance. Proactively work with cross functional key stakeholders to identify and address business improvement opportunities. WHS, Environment & Quality: Comply with all Work, Health & Safety, Environment and Quality obligations Actively promote safety in the workplace To assist the Finance division in resolving accounts payable issues.
