EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Either a demonstrable and successful track record in pre-sales or consultancy in a managed service environment
  • Solid and broad understanding of providing outsourcing services
  • Although not essential, knowledge of Service Management and ITIL would be an advantage
  • Ability to identify and act on potential business opportunities
  • Good understanding of the sales process
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of presenting at all levels
  • Experience in building and owning cost models for large managed service deals
  • Experience in contract negations and creation of managed service contracts
Responsibilities

The Pre-Sales Consultant works within the managed services team and is the subject matter expert for HSO’s managed services. The individual will use their understanding of business needs in a managed service environment to support account managers with the positioning and sale of solutions and services in order to achieve customer value goals along with HSO revenue goals. The role demands and understanding of Microsoft technologies and extensive knowledge of working in a managed service environment. The successful candidate will have experience in creation and completion of extensive cost models and support contracts.
