Summary
We are looking for energetic IT Professionals in the Lancaster-York-Reading area for a hybrid remote and on-site support position. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and service to our dental practice clients. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that their network systems function smoothly and efficiently.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must be able to communicate well and provide exceptional customer service
  • Experience required with Windows desktop and Server operating systems
  • Understanding of and ability to install, configure and test workstation hardware including video cards, NICs, sound cards, hard drives, and PDAs
  • Understanding of TCP/IP and troubleshooting Internet connectivity
  • Configuration of standard IMAP, POP, SMTP & Exchange clients including Outlook
  • Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and customization of MS Office Suite applications per customer’s preferences
  • Configure file, print and remote access services
  • Network configuration, including add/remove users and groups, check event logs, configure and restore from backup
  • Experience with routers and firewalls
  • Experience with Terminal Services preferred
  • Understanding of DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy services
  • Working Knowledge of firewall technologies - SonicWALL, Ubiquiti
  • Working Knowledge of wireless technologies – Ubiquiti

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote and on-site technical support to dental practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware and software
  • Install and configure networking equipment and computer systems
  • Accurate and timely documentation of services performed

Requirements

  • Proven experience in technical support or a related field.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
