We deliver a range of child, family and youth services, family relationship services, school counselling and pastoral care services, social housing, homelessness services, employment and advocacy services across Victoria.
The Management Accountant will play a key role in supporting the financial performance and accountability of CatholicCare Victoria through accurate reporting, financial analysis, and ongoing stakeholder engagement. This position is responsible for delivering timely and insightful financial support to a range of stakeholders including executive leaders, senior managers, program managers, and both internal and external partners.

SPECIFICALLY, THE POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Drawing on your commercial acumen and analytical capabilities to support program financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and program performance reviews.
• Hands-on processing, including journal preparation, reconciliations, financial system maintenance, and contributing to the month-end and year-end close.
• Ensure accuracy in financial records and compliance with reporting requirements (e.g. BAS, FBT, ACNC, Workcover), as required.Lead and coordinate finance team members in areas such as payroll and financial accounting when required and contribute to the planning and delivery of finance projects.
