DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded Management Accountant to join our team and play a key role in driving performance and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
As a trusted business partner, you’ll work closely with operational teams and senior leaders to deliver insightful analysis, shape budgets and forecasts, and ensure financial performance aligns with our goals. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful change, improve cost efficiency and play a important role in shaping the performance of a global business.
Our Finance team is based across two main sites - Aberdeen and Kuala Lumpur. This role will be based from our Aberdeen office headquarters, on a hybrid working basis. We’re happy to discuss how that will look for you as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities
  • Be a part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ICAS)
  • Have experience working in complex financial environments with a multinational, multicurrency business
  • Have proven experience in a management accounting, financial analysis, or business partnering role.
  • Experienced in preparing monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Familiarity with statutory reporting, tax compliance, and audit processes
  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment and supporting operational decision-making.
  • Be highly focused and accurate with an uncompromising eye for detail
  • Have a track record of delivering accurate work to deadlines in a fast-paced organisation, with excellent prioritisation and task management skills.
  • Be able to communicate well with internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to influence and guide towards agreed outcomes.
  • Have high integrity, a role model for doing the right thing and commitment to high performance.
  • Experience of NetSuite would be advantageous but full training will be provided
