OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join our finance team and play a crucial role in delivering accurate and timely financial and management information. You will be responsible for preparing the Trial Balance on schedule and providing excellent support to the Financial Control function.

SKILLS

• Degree in Accounting or AAT qualification.
• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar management accounting role.
• Experience in the Eco environment would be desirable (but not essential).
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (desirable).
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines.

• Reports into subsidiary COO with a dotted line to Group Financial Controller
• Overall responsibility for the finance function (currently one finance assistant supported by one of the founders and a third party accounting practice)
• Manage all accounting functions, purchase to pay, sales to cash, and payroll, ensuring monthly reconciliations are completed and clean
• Build and maintain rolling 13 week cash flow forecast with assistance from Group and local management
• Implement and control Group accounting policies including IFRS (Group will provide guidance)
• Own the control environment and ensure constant development and improvement
• Ensure all documentation is kept in an auditable format for the year end
• Work with Group finance and the external auditors on the year end audit
• Complete and sign off monthly reporting pack to Group
• Work with the business to complete quarterly reforecasts and annual budget
• As hoc projects ie systems improvements, payroll, payment processes
• Manage finance assistant
