JOB OVERVIEW

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a successful and growing organisation with over 20 years of experience within the Construction Industry. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our accounts team and be part of our growing business. To support a new phase of growth for the business as we transition from a small to medium sized organisation.
The successful candidate will be working closely with our Directors and Finance Manager to really grow the finance function and shape processes, so they scale with us. You won’t be stuck just producing reports – your numbers will have real meaning and you’ll be a core part of shaping business strategy.
The role is full-time and fully in the office, 9am – 5pm.
Salary: Competative DOE.

REQUIREMENTS

Fully qualified accountant – CIMA preferred
Sage 50 experience (essential)
Strong Excel skills (preferable)
Good communication skills
Experience with manufacturing management accounts
Motivated and able to work proactively.

• Ensuring day-to-day processes are delivered in a timely manner, including Accruals & Prepayments, banking and bank reconciliations.
• Maintaining a Fixed Asset register, including Depreciation of assets and disposal as required.
• Maintaining credit management and debtor management systems.
• Producing end-to-end management accounts, including collating and posting of journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Reviewing internal controls and setting up new controls where necessary.
• Cashflow forecasting and management
• Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
