We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Management Accountant to join our team. If you’re detail-oriented, confident with numbers, and enjoy providing financial insight to support day-to-day operations, this could be a great fit.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing reports, assisting with budgeting, and working with teams across the business to provide accurate and timely financial information. It’s a hands-on role that plays an important part in maintaining a clear picture of our performance and supporting key stakeholders.
We’re looking for someone with a proactive mindset, sound judgment, and a genuine interest in business operations. If you’re ready to bring your expertise to a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Apply now and help shape the future of finance in a team that values your skills and champions your success.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity for an analytical and pro-active Management Accountant to make a meaningful impact at Carers Queensland. As a key player in our Corporate Services Team, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality financial insights that empower effective decision-making across all levels of the organisation.
You’ll work in close partnership with operational teams to provide expert financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic guidance, ensuring our budgeting, forecasting, and internal reporting processes reflect and support our mission and long-term objectives. In addition to your core responsibilities, you’ll also step in to assist fellow Finance Team members when needed, offering support during high-demand periods or leave coverage. This is more than a technical finance role—it’s a chance to contribute to a team that thrives on collaboration, values integrity, and plays a critical role in supporting the organisation’s broader goals.
