Citadel Source is delighted to partner with a growing multisite Group, to support the recruitment of their new Management Accountant.

THE ROLE

This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified Management Accountant to join a growing, multi-entity business. As the group continues to grow organically and through acquisition, the newly appointed CFO is seeking the company’s first qualified Management Accountant, acting as their “number two” in finance, with a clear plan to progress to a Financial Controller seat. The successful candidate will work closely with the CFO and operational teams to deliver accurate financial information, support cash flow and budget planning, and drive improvements across finance systems and processes.

AS A MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT WILL NOT BE LIMITED TO:

• Preparing monthly management accounts for multiple entities
• Producing detailed financial reports, including variance analysis and performance by unit
• Developing and managing short-term cash flow forecasts in collaboration with senior stakeholders
• Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments
• Liaising with operational teams to monitor key financial metrics
• Assisting in year-end preparations and working with external auditors
• Supporting the development of financial systems and continuous process improvement
• Contributing to the group-wide budgeting and forecasting cycle
• Taking part in ad hoc projects and strategic financial analysis
