About the Role As a Management Accountant, you’ll play a key part in keeping our finances accurate, insightful, and on track. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you’ll prepare monthly management accounts, reconcile balance sheets and help explain business performance through clear analysis. You will contribute to a disciplined, high-quality finance environment - enhancing processes, tightening controls and producing clear, insight-rich reporting that helps the senior team make informed decisions. You’ll maintain the Fixed Asset Register, oversee invoicing and revenue recognition and partner with teams across the business to support sound financial decisions. Alongside this, you’ll contribute to year-end reporting, margin analysis and process improvements, while guiding our Accounts Assistants and supporting wider finance projects. Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly management accounts by working day 5 with insight from Finance Manager Reconciliation of monthly Balance Sheet with variance analysis Ensure accuracy of ScaleXP reporting for month end Maintain and manage Fixed Asset register Business Partnering with other departments Ownership of Vanta and margin analysis Oversight to confirm the accuracy of sales invoicing raised during the month and correct recognition of revenue Escalation point for overdue debtors Identify, assess, and help mitigate financial risks within the organisation Oversee and support Accounts Assistants Assist with the Year End process Ad-hoc projects required by the Finance Manager Requirements 3-5 years+ experience in a Financial / Management Accountant role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A curious, proactive, and motivated mindset, with a genuine interest in technology and business. Collaborative, team player who focuses on finding solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly organised, with strong attention to detail. Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities. A professional and confident approach when interacting with clients.
