Following rapid growth, we are looking for a dedicated Management Accountant to join our finance team and support the continued expansion of the business.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

· - Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) – or qualified by experience
· - Previous experience in a management accounting role (experience within construction/telecoms/utilities preferred but not essential)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Management Accountant will play a key role in providing financial insights, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will oversee management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis while working closely with senior management to improve efficiency and profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· - Preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting
· - Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
· - Monitoring project costs, margins, and profitability
· - Providing financial insights and recommendations to support business strategy
· - Assisting with year-end accounts and audits
· - Managing cash flow, working capital, and financial controls
· - Supporting the senior leadership team with ad hoc analysis and business planning
· - Overseeing payroll, supplier payments, and credit control processes (where required)
· - Ensuring compliance with relevant tax and accounting regulations
