JOB ADVERT: FULLY QUALIFIED MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT – £50,000

A well-established manufacturing business based in Ipswich, seeking a Fully Qualified Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar management accounting role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems and ERP software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.

• Produce accurate and timely management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysis.
• Work closely with the senior management team to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assist in decision-making processes.
• Oversee cost analysis and control mechanisms to maximise profitability.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies within the business.
