SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Part qualified/Qualified CIMA/Qualified by experience
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a Management Accountant
  • Experience of working within the manufacturing industry
  • Good communication skills verbally and in writing.
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Work Location: On the roa

Responsibilities
  • Produce financial and business performance data for the business divisions, monthly and ad hoc
  • Month-end ledger closing routines, analysis, and production of the management accounts, ensuring they are produced to the standards required and within published timetables
  • Compile monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Compile monthly PAYE, CIS, Quarterly VAT returns and National Statistics submissions
  • Monthly analysis of PAYE settlement agreement in preparation for the annual return and submission.
  • Compilation of data to support external and internal audit requirements and other information required by Group for year-end reporting.
  • Assist in the Monthly analysis of Project Accounting.
  • Overhead reviews with budget managers
  • Assist in gathering and analysis of information to compile the annual budgets
  • Ensure appropriate procedure notes are maintained, updated, and documented for defined areas of responsibility
  • Monthly Debenture reporting to Financial Institution
  • Owner of Fixed assets Register and aligning with Asset Tracking system as well as depreciation posting
  • Holiday cover, which may include Accounts Payable and Payroll
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by your line manager
