Description

My client is a global events and digital media group, they have a number of brand enjoying growth across Europe and beyond.
As part of their growth they seek a management accountant to provide monthly accounting and analysis to one of the business divisions. The role will combine responsibility for ensuring accurate and efficient month-end reporting as well as working closely with sales and operations teams to provide management information and analysis around costs and revenue.
This is a permanent opportunity that would support study if required and provide support for further development working closely with an experienced Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver timely, high quality management information to inform the decision-making of business leaders. This will include monthly management reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and other ad-hoc reporting.
  • Provide monthly revenue assurance reporting and analysing, liaising closely with operations teams.
  • Monitor and present actual and forecast event costs on a monthly basis.
  • Responsible for preparing Balance Sheet reconciliations and providing supporting schedules for relevant Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Contribute to continual improvement of processes to drive efficiency and improve effectiveness.
  • Work with Sales Director to create sales commission schemes and targets for the sales team. Calculate commission payments each month for payroll processing.
  • Work closely with outsourced financial services provider to optimise business services such as O2C, P2P and R2R.

The role requires an experienced management accountant who can work comfortably on the month-end process. Successful candidates will have the ability to liaise across business departments and at different levels and a desire to develop their knowledge and level of responsibility.

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
