JOB SUMMARY:

The role of Management Accountant – Inventory, involves performing the SAP controlling module month-end procedures and related management accounts reporting requirements. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the SAP materials ledger including daily management and review of costings, stock variances and timely resolution of errors while ensuring Amcor policies and procedures are followed for inventory accounting. You will also provide cover for management accountant - overheads role as / when required.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Preparation of other site MI.
  • Ensure Amcor policies and procedures are followed for inventory accounting.
  • Provide cover for management accountant overheads role as / when required, and training management accountant overheads to provide cover for inventory.

  • Basic knowledge of quality standards , data integrity, and the importance of maintaining product integrity.
  • Strict adherence to the organization’s hygiene rules, understanding the importance of personal hygiene and wearing appropriate protective gear to avoid compromising product quality.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Accounting qualification or relevant experience
  • Experience in a Manufacturing environment desirable
  • Advanced Excel Skills essential
  • SAP (preferred) or other Manufacturing ERP system experience desirable
  • Decisiveness and good judgement
  • High level of accuracy & an eye for detail critical
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Self-motivated
  • This will be a cross-functional role, requiring excellent communication skills and the development of an understanding of all aspects of the business
