Position Available: Management Accountant Location: Remote; Sri Lanka Hours: Full-time - 5:30am - 1:30pm, IST Colombo Are you an experienced Management Accountant with strong month-end close, forecasting, planning and financial analysis skills, looking to take the next step in your career under a highly motivated and focused CFO function? Your main responsibilities & experience: Management Accounting & Financial Reporting : You have 3+ years’ experience preparing and analyzing management accounting reports that support CFO-led finance meetings, strategic decision-making, and business performance reviews. You bring strong capability across month-end close, reporting, and financial administration, and are ready to step confidently into a senior/lead finance role. Month-End Close, Forecasting & Planning: You are highly organized and process-driven, with proven experience managing structured month-end close routines, forecasting cycles, budgeting, and performance tracking. You take a proactive approach to improving workflows, streamlining reporting, and lifting efficiency as transaction volumes and business complexity increase. Cloud Accounting Systems & High-Volume Transactions : You are confident working across cloud-based accounting systems and can manage high volumes of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll with accuracy and speed. You have hands-on experience using platforms such as Xero and MYOB, and adapt quickly to new systems and tools. End-to-End Finance Support & Stakeholder Management : You’re comfortable taking ownership of end-to-end finance tasks, including stepping into existing files, understanding reporting structures quickly, and delivering accurate work from day one. You communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and clients, building trust through reliability, professionalism, and strong attention to detail. What your profile will look like: Must have – Strong communication skills: Fluent written and oral English skills are a must. Must have – Minimum 3+ years' experience: Demonstrable experience as a Management Accountant or Bookkeeping Manager servicing Australian clients in a service-oriented industry is essential. Must have – Accounting educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or a professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA). Must be – Proficient in Xero / MYOB: Ability to navigate cloud-based accounting systems with excellent client management skills Must have – Strong Internet Connection: stable fiber connectivity with a minimum bandwidth of 50 Mbps Benefits of joining the Elephant Teams family: Fully Remote Work: WFH, always.
