Due to business expansion, we are looking to hire a Management Accountant in London. The Finance team plays a valuable part in ensuring the smooth running of operations across the group and often goes above and beyond to get the job done. Key Responsibilities: Produce financial statements including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and commentaries. Produce annual statutory accounts in management accounts format. Report on company assets and liabilities, including balance sheet account reconciliations and review of intangible assets. Ongoing review of cash flow and production of forecasts. Calculation, presentation, and payment of VAT for European companies. Manage capital expenditure and ensure it aligns with the company’s budget and strategic plans. Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Liaise directly with auditors to ensure relevant information is provided and the annual audit is delivered on time. Carry out continuous reviews of working accounting practices and processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. Key Requirements Education / Training Studying towards AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent (full qualification not required). Strong willingness to continue professional development supported by the company. Experience At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within recruitment or professional services. Strong background in management accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills. Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to manage deadlines under pressure. Solid understanding of VAT and financial regulations. Experience working in international businesses with multi-currency exposure is an advantage.
