MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

Robert Half is exclusivily partnering with a working well-established and privately owned business to recruit a newly created Management Accountant position based in Altrincham.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and highly regarded team that manages a diverse property portfolio including retail, industrial, office, residential and land assets.
The role has been created as part of a wider transformation within the finance function and offers the chance to step into a hands-on, commercially relevant position with exposure to senior stakeholders and varied assets across the portfolio.
You’ll be joining a supportive team environment where you’ll work closely with the Finance Manager and Group Financial Controller but also be given the autonomy to take real ownership of your work.

• Preparation of accurate and timely quarterly consolidated group management accounts
• Analysis of asset-level financial performance including variance analysis and performance metrics reporting
• Month-end close activities including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
• Business partnering across internal departments to support budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking
• Supporting the year-end audit process and statutory reporting
• Maintenance of intercompany accounts and associated reconciliations
• Driving improvements in reporting, processes and systems
• Ensuring strong financial controls and governance are in place
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
