About the role We are looking for a Management Accountant, based in our Auckland office. In this role, responsible for delivering high‑quality financial reporting, analysis and insights to support effective decision‑making across the firm. The role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and strengthening financial governance, compliance and efficiency within the Finance function. Key responsibilities include: Leading management reporting and insights, including P&L, variance analysis, WIP, debt, lock‑up and forecasting, with clear commentary for Board and senior leadership. Managing the budgeting and forecasting cycle - partnering with the CFO and Finance Manager to deliver accurate, forward‑looking financial plans. Responsible for end‑to‑end compliance, including Toitū climate impact reporting, preparation of annual IFRS financial statements, oversight of all tax filings (GST, FBT and partnership returns), approval of office and trust account payments, completion of Statistics NZ surveys Partnering with stakeholders (CFO, Finance and BI teams) to enhance financial reporting, controls, policies and accounting processes. Improving efficiency and governance across finance operations, including payments oversight, supplier management, cost optimisation and regulatory reporting. The successful candidate will: Be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (or equivalent). Have sound knowledge of accountancy including systems methodologies, techniques and technology.
