QUALIFICATIONS:

• Part-qualified and actively studying towards AAT, ACA, CIMA, or ACCA (Essential)

EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience in management accounting and financial analysis (Essential)
• Background in complex financial environments, ideally in construction, engineering, or nuclear (Desirable)
• Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels (Essential)

SKILLS:

• Strong Excel and data management skills (Essential)
• Experience with Sage X3 (Desirable)
• Organised, deadline-driven, and discreet
• Customer-focused with great interpersonal skills

KNOWLEDGE:

• Understanding of internal controls and accounting standards (Desirable)

✈️ Flexibility & Travel

• Hybrid working model with a minimum of 2 days in the office
• Occasional travel to other NTS locations

• Own the Numbers: Lead the production of monthly financials for the Shipping business, including PNTL, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timeliness.
• Drive Insight: Provide meaningful analysis and commentary on financial performance, helping leaders understand the story behind the figures.
• Plan for the Future: Support quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and 5-year strategic plans, contributing to long-term financial sustainability.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with colleagues in Finance and across NTS to streamline reporting and embed best practices.
• Support Statutory Reporting: Provide data and insight to support the production of statutory accounts for INSL and PNTL.
