Description

I am looking for an experienced Management Accountant to support my client on a 6-month contract, starting ASAP!
In this role you will take ownership of core finance operations, management reporting, and business planning, while supporting their senior leadership team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver monthly management accounts and reporting packs to Group deadlines.
  • Provide P&L analysis, cashflow reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning.
  • VAT returns
  • Liase with internal and external auditors during audit
  • Supervise purchase and sales ledger activities.
  • Contribute to ERP implementation and process improvement projects.
  • Partner with the Financial Controller and Head of Finance on ad hoc initiatives.

Who we’re looking for:

  • ACCA / CIMA qualified (preferable), strong QBE Management Accountants can also be considered
  • Proven experience in management accounting, ideally in manufacturing or project-based environments.
  • Strong Excel and ERP knowledge, with excellent analytical skills.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience managing or leading a small team/function.
  • Resilient under pressure, with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines.

Hybrid working is available – with a minimum of 3 days a week on site.
Salary is up to £60,000, depending on level of experience and qualification.
