ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • AAT Level 2 or higher, or similar accounting qualification (or studying towards one).
  • Previous experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally in a similar position.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficiency in using financial software (e.g., D365) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in processing journals and bank reconciliations.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in processing financial data.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
  • Strong numerical skills and the ability to work comfortably with financial data.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
