MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

Start date: ASAP
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 – dependent on experience
Holidays: 26 days per annum plus bank holidays
Hours: Full Time Monday to Friday, Hours to be agreed
Benefits: Private Health care provided, extended pension
Due to continued company growth, we are looking for a Management Accountant to join our team, based at our purpose-built offices near the centre of Bury. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

· Ambitious, self starter looking to grow with the business
· Hold AAT Level 3 and or 4
· Proven Experience working as a Management Accountant or similar position
· Hold full UK Driving licence.
· Work on own Initiative
· Reliable and Punctual
You must be able to work effectively as part of a team and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment. The role will also involve managing and mentoring two members of the finance team, so strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

· Production of management accounts for multiple companies including inter-company reconciliations.
· Accruals, Prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
· Completing financial analysis and VAT reporting
· Review and approval of Bank payments
· P&L analysis.
· Knowledge of Xero, payroll software and strong Excel skills.
· Assist with financial information for tender submission.
· Assist with the production of payment applications.
