OVERVIEW

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join the Finance function at group level on behalf of our parent company, Wilderness. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial performance and strategic decision-making across the group.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, and working closely with the Finance Manager for specific projects and tasks, you will play a pivotal role in preparing, analysing, and managing financial data across multiple entities. This role requires strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across the business.
You will also support improvements in accounting processes, implementation of new systems, and coaching of the Finance Team to ensure accurate, timely, and insightful financial management.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Part-qualified, fully qualified, or professionally experienced accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar management accounting role.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Experience with Power BI is desirable.
• Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and focused.
• Flexible, highly organised, and willing to assist across multiple functions.
• Previous experience in the travel industry is preferred but not essential.
