Description

The Management Accounting Intern provides support to the business unit leaders and management in making critical business decisions by preparing, analyzing, and presenting key financial data and metrics. Key Responsibilities: Assist in creating monthly, annual, or long-term cost projections and trend analysis and expenditures Assist in collecting and analyzing data on operational costs and make recommendations on the company’s processes and policies to help reduce cost and maximize profit Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as the Logistics team and the Marketing & Product Management team to formulate the most accurate importation costs for the trading business Aid in regular analysis and reporting to drive product and business decisions Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries

Responsibilities

The intern will assist in creating cost projections and analyzing operational costs to provide recommendations for cost reduction and profit maximization. They will also perform month-end accounting activities and collaborate with various internal teams.
