Andrew Morgan, LLC (AM) is a fast-growing Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and HUBZone SB. We are currently seeking a qualified Management Analyst to join our team supporting our DoD Client.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, HR systems, or process improvement.
  • Proficiency in Excel (including VBA), SQL, Power BI, and/or Tableau.
  • Experience with data validation, quality assurance, and system testing.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

The Management Analyst will support ongoing modernization and data optimization efforts within the Human Resources (HR) department. This role focuses on analyzing and improving HR systems, automating workflows, and enhancing the quality, integrity, and accessibility of large-scale personnel data. The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker with a strong foundation in data engineering, systems analysis, and collaborative problem-solving.

  • Analyze and validate HR datasets to prepare records for reporting and system migration while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and project managers to gather requirements, identify inefficiencies, and implement system-level HR process improvements.
  • Develop and automate reporting workflows using Excel VBA to reduce manual work, eliminate redundant steps, and improve data clarity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies by debugging complex Excel formulas and improving dashboard functionality.
  • Conduct system testing and quality assurance on internal HR platforms, using tools like Jira to track issues and facilitate timely resolutions.
  • Use SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Tableau to analyze workforce trends and develop recurring dashboards and reports that support data-driven decision-making.
  • Implement user tracking systems to reduce noncompliant accounts, improve data governance, and maintain access controls.
  • Apply systems analysis methodologies to validate records, decrease reporting error, and support workforce planning.
  • Contribute to ad hoc reporting and analytics projects that improve transparency and enhance operational performance.
